AllDomains

AllDomains lets you replace your long, hard-to-remember Solana wallet address with a simple name like "ghost.solana," so sending and receiving crypto feels as easy as sharing a username. Communities can even launch their own custom domain extensions, and you fully own your name on-chain to use across wallets, profiles, and apps throughout Solana.

What is AllDomains?

AllDomains is a domain service that allows users to register human-readable domain names that can be connected to wallet addresses and used across supported Solana apps. Instead of copying and pasting a long wallet address, a user can use a simple name linked to their wallet. This makes sending funds and interacting with other Web3 users and apps easier.

How AllDomains Work

AllDomains works by connecting a readable domain name to a Solana wallet address. Once a domain is registered, instead of sharing a long Solana address, the user can share their domain name. When another person or app looks up that domain name or sends any assets to it, the transfer resolves to the wallet address linked to it.

Aquiring a .solana domain name

As shown above, the user registers a domain (ghost.solana), and it is stored on-chain. The wallet used for the purchase is the one that the domain name routes to. After this setup is complete, other users or apps on Solana can use “ghost.solana” to find the linked address or send funds to it.

What are some other Features of AllDomains?

Ecosystem Domain Extensions

Projects and communities within the Solana ecosystem can request and launch their own custom top-level domains on AllDomains. Many leading ecosystems already have dedicated TLDs that represent their brands and communities, such as .letsBONK for Bonk, .superteam for Superteam, .wen for Wen, and .blink for the Dotblink.me community.

AllDomains allows entities to create their own TLD. In this example, we registered "ghost.superteam"

To get a TLD for a community, users can simply open the request form and fill in the required details. AllDomains uses this information to review potential communities and support their custom TLD setup. TLD adoption is growing steadily, with custom domains now being used across 80+ ecosystems in the Solana ecosystem.

AllDomains Bridge

The AllDomain Bridge is a beta cross-chain bridge product developed by the AllDomain team. It allows users to transfer assets across multiple blockchain networks, including Solana, Ethereum, Sonic SVM, and Eclipse. Since the bridge is still in beta, please use it carefully and only transfer small amounts of funds for now. This helps reduce risk while the product continues to be tested and improved.

The AllDomains bridge allows you to transfer ownership of your domain to virtually any chain, including Ethereum and Eclipse.

How to Integrate AllDomains as a Developer

AllDomains provides a set of on-chain programs and smart contracts for domain identity across Solana and EVM environments. On Solana, the ANS (All Name Service) program is what enables users to create human-readable domain names that can replace public keys, while TLD House allows projects to launch and manage their own custom TLDs, such as .anything, for their communities. Name House adds NFT functionality by enabling domains from any TLD to be wrapped and unwrapped as NFTs, making them tradable on Solana NFT marketplaces. Get started with the implementation in the official guide.

Conclusions

Blockchain wallet addresses should be easier to read and remember. This is what AllDomains is mainly about. It gives users a name they can own and use on-chain, similar to how traditional domains work for websites, but designed for wallets, profiles, and blockchain activity. Get started with your unique on-chain ID with AllDomains.
