What is Cashflow?

Cashflow is a personal finance app for earning yield on stablecoins and purchasing tokenized assets such as gold and stocks on the Solana blockchain. Cashflow brings together multiple stablecoin markets from different protocols under one umbrella, with each market offering its own APY rate. As more real-world hard assets move on-chain, Cashflow gives users access to these markets with just a Solana wallet.

Using Cashflow App

Cashflow has a built-in non-custodial wallet that holds deposited assets and can also be used to convert tokens. To use it, users need to transfer funds from their external wallet (e.g., the Seeker Wallet) to the wallet address provided in the app. In the screenshot below, I deposited some SOL and USDC into the wallet provided.

Cashflow Homepage

The Cashflow homepage consists of an on-chain “passport” (a Metaplex core asset) which represents in-app activities, such as reward badges earned and the amount deposited as a lender in stablecoin markets over time. Cashflow also displays the amount earned over a period of seven days, as well as the total lifetime earnings from the beginning of the user’s journey with the app.

Stablecoin Markets

Cashflow connects its users to top DeFi protocols offering competitive rates on stablecoins. Some of these markets come from Kamino, Perena, and Marinade, all notable protocols in the Solana ecosystem.

Depositing into a market requires only a few steps. A user taps the stablecoin market of interest, inputs the amount they want to deposit, and clicks “Deposit.” Once confirmed, the stablecoin is deposited on-chain.

Assets and Security

All tokens held in the app are curated in the Assets section, with additional information such as the change in total asset value over a 24-hour period.

Security measures, such as spending limits for vaults on Cashflow, can be managed in the Settings section. Since the wallet is non-custodial, users can safely copy and store their keys for access in case something happens to their mobile device.

Platforms

Cashflow is currently primarily a Seeker mobile application. In the coming months, the app is expected to become available on other mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android, as development progresses.

Conclusion

Cashflow is a financial app that provides users with access to stablecoin markets across multiple leading DeFi platforms on Solana, along with other on-chain financial instruments, such as tokenised gold and stocks.
