What Is Radiants DAO?
Radiants is a community-owned DAO on Solana that began as a Grizzlython-winning project and has since transitioned into a vibrant builder collective, event host, and project incubator on Solana. What started with an experimental NFT-burning auction mechanic has grown into a community-led ecosystem that is driving innovation, play, and people coordination on Solana.
Radiants stands between culture, utility experiments, and real community involvement. If you're looking for where the next class of grassroots Solana projects may be born, Radiants is a good ecosystem to bet on.

Community & DAO Structure
Radiants is powered by contributors. Anyone can join the community, and those who meaningfully contribute by building applications, designing, writing, organizing events, or supporting others may earn a Radiant NFT - which is a unique token that represents a person’s contribution and active participation in the DAO. These NFTs are not just status symbols for some select few. They serve as a governance pass for core contributors to upgrade protocols, develop tools, approve bounties and future DAO experiments. A
The DAO runs on an ethos of good deeds and kindness, creativity, experimentation, and cooperation. There’s no formal hierarchy in Radiants. Contributors propose, collaborate, and build in the open, often through public calls and idea threads. If you want to earn a Radiants NFT, you can buy one or build your way in through the Merit Award program.

Radiants’ NFT Auction
Radiants’ first product was a burn-based auction system, which flipped typical NFT auctions on their head. Instead of bidding with SOL, users burn NFTs they already own, from Yellowlisted collections, to make bids for a Radiant NFT. The auction mechanics introduced scarcity in a novel way that required participants to sacrifice real value, within obsolete NFT collections, to win. This system by the DAO became one of the earliest examples where social signalling, scarcity, and destruction were combined to create meaning and value beyond market price.

Radiants’ NFT Raffle
To win a Radiant NFT with the Raffle auction, you participate in a “Sacrifice-by-Raffle” event where you burn eligible NFTs that are pre-selected before the event (Yellowlisted NFTs), such as Sol Slugs, BAPE’s, etc., to purchase raffle participation tickets. Each ticket represents your entry, and the more you burn, the higher your chances of winning, though even small entries can succeed. Once the raffle closes, all sacrificed NFTs are permanently removed from their respective collections and burned, after, re-minted as cNFTs to be inscribed into the winning bid's Radiant NFT, with the total burned value tallied up. A single winner is then randomly selected to receive the unique Radiant NFT.
What are the Values and Vision of RadiantsDAO?
RadiantsDAO believes in the following core ideas:
Build in Public
Progress is shared through X (fmr. Twitter), Discord, GitHub and open forums.
Earn or Bid
Radiant NFTs are awarded to those who earn them within the ecosystem through the Merit Award program. They can also be acquired by those willing to bid for one.
Community and Tech
The DAO embraces the cultural layer of Solana as much as the technical one. Radiants is a mix of all the facets that can be found in the Solana ecosystem.
Support early builders
From hackathons to internal bounties, Radiants is all about seeding weird, early, promising experiments.
Radiants’ Achievements
Radiants has already made a notable impact on the Solana ecosystem. Some of them are:
Public Goods Award (2023)
Radiants won the Public Goods Award in the 2023 Solana Hyperdrive hackathon. The award is a recognition of open-source projects that benefit developers across the Solana ecosystem. The ecosystem-wide NFT deflation protocol that also helps merge projects utilizing a suite of tools received a $20,000 USDC prize from the foundation.
BONKATHON (2024)
In partnership with BONK, Radiants hosted the first BONKATHON, a massive community-run Solana hackathon with over 300 project submissions, dozens of prizes, and ecosystem-wide visibility.
Solana Mobile Hackathon (2025)
Radiants is currently co-hosting a second hackathon in partnership with Solana, Solana Mobile, Seeker, BONK, and Helius. This hackathon pushes mobile-first development, with participants building apps, tools, and experiments for the Solana Mobile devices (Saga, Seeker) and the broader Solana mobile stack.
Through these hackathons, Radiants isn’t just building tech; it is curating talent, pushing novel experiments, and coordinating capital in the Solana community.
