What is Totalis?

Totalis is an app building derivatives for prediction markets. It allows users to combine multiple prediction-market positions into a single custom parlay. A parlay is one position made up of several outcomes. It pays out only if every selected outcome is correct. For example, a user could combine several “Yes” or “No” positions from supported Kalshi or Polymarket markets into one trade. Totalis uses market makers to price these custom positions and settles trades on Solana using USDC.

How Totalis Parlays Work

A Totalis parlay can include between two and five market outcomes, also called legs. Each leg represents a selected side of a prediction market, such as “Yes” or “No.” Users choose their legs and enter a bet amount. Totalis then sends the request to participating market makers, which compete to offer payout odds. The user can review the available quotes and accept the best valid option. Once the chosen market maker confirms the trade, the position is funded and recorded on Solana.

The process works as follows:

  1. Select 2 to 5 prediction-market outcomes.
  2. Enter a bet amount, currently from 1 to 100 USDC.
  3. Receive live payout quotes from market makers.
  4. Accept a quote to create the parlay.
  5. The user’s stake and market maker’s collateral are locked on Solana.
  6. The position settles automatically when the underlying markets resolve.

If every leg wins, the user receives the quoted payout. If one leg loses, the parlay loses. If a market is voided, the platform may cancel the position and return the user’s bet under its stated rules.

Fixed Parlays

Totalis features Fixed Parlays. These are pre-selected collections of prediction-market outcomes curated by the platform. These bundles offer a quicker way to explore themed or related market views without selecting each leg individually. If a trader is interested in a featured collection, they can click “Add All Legs” to load the full set directly into their parlay slip.

Customized Parlays

The maximum number of trades that can be open in a parlay is 5. A trader can select “Yes” or “No” and adjust the position where possible. Repeat this for all the positions of interest to be included in the parlay, and they will be bundled into one position.

Portfolio and Leaderboard

Totalis includes a Portfolio section where users can track their trading activity in one place. It shows active parlay positions, settled trades, wins, losses, and the status of funds currently locked in open positions. Users can review how each trade performed, monitor open parlays before settlement, and keep a clearer record of their overall activity on the platform.

The platform also features a Leaderboard that highlights leading Totalis traders. It displays metrics such as trader profits and win rates, giving users a view of the most successful participants on the platform.

Supported Prediction Markets

Totalis enables parlays using markets from:

  • Kalshi
  • Polymarket

The platform checks selected markets before requesting quotes. It may reject combinations that are too closely related or have conflicting settlement conditions to prevent correlated outcomes from being bundled into the same parlay.

Market-Maker Pricing

Unlike a standard fixed-odds betting system, Totalis uses a request-for-quote model. When a user creates a parlay request, market makers review the selected legs and submit their own pricing. Users can see quotes arrive in real time and decide whether to accept one. This approach means the payout odds are determined by competing market makers rather than assigned by a single platform price. Quotes are only valid for a short period, so users need to accept them before they expire.

Can You Close a Parlay Early?

Totalis offers an early-exit feature known as a cashout auction. If a parlay is active but has not yet settled, users can request to close it early. Market makers submit bids for the position, and the user can choose whether to accept the best available offer. The cashout price depends on the current probability of the selected outcomes, remaining time until market resolution, market conditions, and the willingness of market makers to take over the position. However, an early cashout may be lower than the potential full payout if the parlay were held until settlement.

Fees

Totalis charges two stated fees:

  • Taker fee: A 1% fee based on the original bet amount.
  • Profit fee: A 1% fee charged on the winning side’s profit when a parlay settles or is closed through cashout.

The taker fee is deducted before payout odds are applied. For example, if a user places a 25 USDC bet, the initial 1% taker fee leaves a 24.75 USDC net stake used to calculate the quoted payout. If a parlay is voided, Totalis states that the taker fee is returned with the user’s bet.

Risks to Consider

Prediction-market parlays are highly speculative and can result in a full loss if even one selected outcome is incorrect. Prices may change before a quote is confirmed, early cashouts may be unavailable or offer less than the potential final payout, and settlement depends on the rules and results of the underlying markets. Users also face smart-contract, platform, market-maker, stablecoin, and regulatory risks. Always review the terms and selected markets carefully, and only trade funds you can afford to lose.

Conclusion

Totalis Trading brings a derivatives-style approach to prediction markets by allowing eligible users to create custom parlays from Kalshi and Polymarket outcomes. Users can combine several predictions into one position, receive live pricing from market makers, and settle trades on Solana with USDC.
